Jerez de la Frontera, well known for its wines, its horses and its flamenco, preserves a historic centre that has been declared a historic artistic site.
You will enjoy the Horse Show “How the Andalusian Horses Dance” at the Royal Equestrian School. This equestrian ballet is accompanied by Spanish music and 18th Century style costumes; all put together and choreographed using movements based upon Classic Dressage, Doma Vaquera and the daily chores of traditional equestrian work. Each show consists of between six and eight different choreographies, all of the same degree of difficulty and entertainment value.
After the show enjoy a private tour at the González Byass – Tio Pepe Winery, one of the better and older producers of Sherry Wine. A stroll through the aging cellars (bodegas) becomes a tour through history enjoying different architectural styles that go from the older and more traditional cellars to the most modern in the sector. La Concha Cellar is attributed to the French architect Eiffel. After the tour enjoy tasting some González-Byass wines and tapas.
